Abstract: Sigatoka skeletal remains found at a resort are under forensic testing with overseas help. Two suspects are questioned for Lautoka High Court burglary.

Police will conduct further forensic testing on the two skeletal remains discovered earlier this month in Sigatoka by resort workers.

Assistant Commissioner of Police – Crime, Mesake Vakatabu, confirmed that investigations into the discovery are ongoing. He stated that police have sought assistance from overseas counterparts to aid in the investigation.

Mr. Vakatabu said, "We will be conducting further forensic tests and liaising with our foreign law enforcement partners for assistance."

The discovery was reported to police just over a week ago by the 46-year-old manager of an island resort in Sigatoka. According to police reports, the human bones of the two deceased individuals were found while workers were digging a drain for the resort's electrical cables.

Meanwhile, investigations continue into the burglary at the Lautoka High Court. Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro stated that the two suspects who were taken into custody on Monday remain in custody for questioning.
