Abstract: Australia sends Go-Jo (Marty Zambotto) with "Milkshake Man" to Eurovision 2025 in Switzerland, marking their 10th year. He aims to bring glory to Australia.

Australia will send pop music sensation Go-Jo to participate in the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest. The 29-year-old singer, whose real name is Marty Zambotto, will travel to Switzerland next May with his latest single, "Milkshake Man." This will be the tenth contestant Australia has sent in the ten years since joining the Eurovision Song Contest, marking a significant milestone.

In an interview with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) News Breakfast program, Zambotto stated, "I am very focused on winning the competition and bringing glory to Australia. Being able to represent such a beautiful country is the most exciting and honorable thing I have ever experienced. Yes, I will definitely bring honor back to Australia," showcasing his determination and national pride.

Zambotto, a Sydney-based singer, grew up in a rural town outside of Manjimup in southwestern Western Australia. He rose to fame rapidly in 2023 with his hit single "Mrs Hollywood," which garnered over 60 million digital plays and 1 billion views, solidifying his presence in the music industry.

Zambotto revealed on the News Breakfast program that when he first learned he would be participating in the Eurovision Song Contest, he thought it was a joke. "I remember I immediately stood up and thought—where's Ashton Kutcher? I thought I was being Punk'd! It was so unreal." He also stated that getting to this point involved "a lot of hard work," highlighting the dedication behind his success.

"A lot of people only see what I show on social media. But in reality, I've been creating in rooms for many years, rooms that were even overgrown with weeds. No one really sees those behind-the-scenes parts of creating music. But I just love it. And I've put a lot of work into my craft," Zambotto said, emphasizing the unseen efforts and passion driving his musical journey.

Zambotto stated that although Australians cannot vote for their own country in the Eurovision Song Contest, he hopes everyone will tune in and support him. "Just having everyone's support, everyone watching me, makes me happy. I like replying to everyone's messages and I like meeting everyone. So if you see me on the street, please come say hello," inviting fans to engage and connect with him during this exciting time.

The 2025 Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Basel, Switzerland next May, promising a spectacular event for music lovers worldwide.
