Donald Trump shocks with bizarre Instagram video of his vision for Gaza

Former U.S. President Donald Trump's official Instagram account recently shared a rather bizarre video, seemingly generated by artificial intelligence, showcasing his vision for the war-torn Gaza Strip. This video has sparked widespread attention and controversy, prompting considerable discussion online.

Previously, Trump had claimed that the United States would "take over" Gaza and level it. Subsequently, he posted this video on his personal Instagram account @realdonaldtrump, showcasing his so-called reconstruction plan. The video depicts the war-ravaged Gaza Strip transformed into a vibrant nightlife area, complete with hotels, shops, cafes, and a pristine beach, illustrating a stark contrast to its current state.

The video's background music is an electronic dance music track with lyrics that proclaim: "Donald Trump will set you free...no more tunnels, no more fear. Trump Gaza is finally here. Trump Gaza shining bright, golden future, brand new life. Trump Gaza number one." The video also features AI-generated versions of Trump ally and SpaceX founder Elon Musk, as well as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, alongside multiple golden statues of Trump scattered throughout this futuristic Gaza, adding to the surreal nature of the vision.

Trump did not add any captions to this highly controversial video. The video quickly generated a large number of comments, after which the comment function was turned off. One Instagram user commented: "I voted for you to keep us out of global conflicts. I feel betrayed." Another user stated: "This is a bad idea and a bad post," reflecting the negative sentiment surrounding the post.

Earlier this month, Trump suggested permanently resettling displaced Palestinians outside of Gaza and proposed that the United States "own" the "ownership" of rebuilding the region. He made the remarks at a joint press conference with Netanyahu, but did not elaborate at the time on the fate of Palestinians forced to leave Gaza. Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, the Arab League, and the Palestinian Authority have all rejected the idea of settling Gazans in other countries, emphasizing the importance of their right to return.
