UAE Minister of Investment Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi stated that the "National Investment Strategy 2031," launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, is a crucial milestone in consolidating the UAE's position as a global investment hub.

Alsuwaidi noted in a statement that this six-year strategy establishes a clear roadmap for attracting more foreign direct investment (FDI), promoting economic diversification, and ensuring long-term sustainable growth. The strategy aims to nearly double annual FDI inflows from AED 112 billion to AED 240 billion by 2031, while increasing total FDI to AED 2.2 trillion. This fully demonstrates the UAE's commitment to creating a competitive investment environment that encourages innovation and global partnerships.

Key sectors such as industry, financial services, logistics, renewable energy, and information technology will be central to this transformation process, ensuring that the UAE remains at the forefront of emerging economic opportunities. Alsuwaidi emphasized: "The UAE has long been a leader in forward-looking policies that stimulate investment and economic growth. With 12 strategic programs and 30 targeted initiatives, the National Investment Strategy 2031 will further solidify the UAE's position as a global gateway, enhance investor confidence, and drive the establishment of a more dynamic, resilient, and open economy."

The strategy includes 12 new projects under strategic directions, and 30 initiatives under these projects, most notably: the Financial Sector Development Program, the Unified Market Program, the Institutional Innovation Attraction Program, the Partner Country Gateway Program, "InvestUAE," the Investment Office, and the Promotion Incubator.
