According to the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), Manchester City is close to signing Eintracht Frankfurt forward Omar Marmoush. Sources indicate that the two clubs have reached a verbal agreement, but the transfer is not yet finalized. The 25-year-old Egyptian international has scored 15 goals in the Bundesliga this season.
Marmoush joined Frankfurt on a free transfer from fellow Bundesliga club Wolfsburg in 2023. In addition, Manchester City is expected to finalize the signing of Brazilian teenage defender, Vítor Reis, soon, who is flying to Manchester for a medical to complete his transfer from Palmeiras.
Manchester City are also interested in signing Juventus left-back Andrea Cambiaso. However, sources within Manchester City suggest that negotiations are not as advanced as reported by Italian media, and there is no guarantee a transfer will be completed this month. The 24-year-old Cambiaso joined Juventus from Genoa in 2022 and has made 25 appearances this season, contributing 2 goals and 2 assists.
Despite agreeing a £33.6 million transfer fee with Lens for 20-year-old Uzbek defender Abdukodir Khusanov, Premier League champions Manchester City have yet to officially confirm the signing of the player.
