Prominent figures in attendance included His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group; His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Ports and Border Security Council; and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan emphasized the importance of such meetings as substantive forums for interaction with Dubai’s business community, which encompasses traders, entrepreneurs, and investors from various sectors. He noted that this long-standing practice has been a cornerstone of Dubai's ethos and leadership style since the time of the late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, and continues to flourish under the visionary leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. This dedication solidifies public-private partnerships, drives progress, and enriches Dubai’s vibrant business ecosystem.
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan discussed with the attendees Dubai’s development goals for the next phase, particularly those outlined in the Dubai Economic Agenda D33. He underscored the critical role of the private sector in achieving these objectives through effective collaboration with the public sector. His Highness reaffirmed Dubai's commitment to fostering this partnership by launching strategic initiatives and creating an environment conducive to business growth, expansion, and sustainability. He stated that this strategy ensures mutual benefits for both sectors and enhances Dubai’s position as a leading global economic hub.
According to the Dubai Media Office, attendees expressed their appreciation for His Highness Sheikh Hamdan’s unwavering commitment to engaging with the business community and fostering the exchange of ideas that drive economic progress.
