In the presence of His Excellency Mohammad Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs of the UAE and Chairman of the World Government Summit Organization, and Her Excellency Ohood Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of State for Government Development and the Future of the UAE and Vice-Chair of the WGS Organization, two cooperation agreements were signed with representatives from PwC Middle East to launch the second edition of the Global Ministerial Survey and the eighth Best Minister Award.

The Global Ministerial Survey aims to strengthen international cooperation by facilitating dialogue among ministers, enabling them to discuss global developments and collaborate on more effective solutions to address pressing challenges. The survey findings will help identify development priorities and shape public policies. The eighth Best Minister Award seeks to recognize and promote scalable government projects and initiatives that have a positive impact on society through resilience, preparedness, innovation, and vision.

This initiative contributes to a deeper understanding of global challenges and promotes the development of sustainable and effective solutions. She also noted that, "The Best Minister Award embodies the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, in advancing excellence in government leadership globally."

The selection process for the Best Minister Award follows a rigorous evaluation framework, including a comprehensive analysis of nominees' contributions, achievements, and initiatives, assessing their impact on social and economic development. The evaluation uses both primary and secondary sources, which are then filtered based on efficiency indicators and assessment criteria. Focus countries are selected from the top-ranked nations in Transparency International's Corruption Perception Index, the Global Governance Indicators, the Human Development Index, and the World Happiness Report. PwC partners nominate up to three ministers who meet the assessment criteria based on their direct knowledge of the nominees and their work. Additionally, PwC's central team conducts extensive research using reliable sources such as international forums, multilateral organizations, reputable media outlets, and official government publications. PwC's Global Insights team also analyzes social media trends using internationally recognized keywords related to government ministers.
