WGS 2025: Over 200 Arab youth ministers to convene at 4th Arab Meeting for Young Leaders

Abstract: The 2025 World Government Summit will host the Arab Youth Leaders Meeting on Feb 10. It focuses on Arab youth's role in development & innovation.

The 2025 World Government Summit (WGS) will host the fourth Arab Youth Leaders Meeting on February 10th. The meeting is expected to bring together over 200 Arab youth ministers, community leaders, and representatives from Arab development organizations. Youth leaders from various professional fields across all Arab countries will also be invited to attend.

The theme of this year's Arab Youth Leaders Meeting is "Made in the Arab World: Arab Identity, Global Impact." The meeting is organized by the Arab Youth Center (AYC) in cooperation with the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Ministers of Youth and Sports, aiming to highlight the important role of Arab youth in promoting development and finding innovative solutions to address the challenges facing Arab societies.

His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Arab Youth Center and Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Martyrs' Families Affairs, stated: "The Arab Youth Leaders Meeting has become an important platform to emphasize the crucial role that youth play in driving development and finding innovative solutions to the challenges facing Arab societies. It underscores the importance of empowering and supporting youth to be active participants in building a better future for their communities and nations."

The fourth Arab Youth Leaders Meeting will feature ministerial panel discussions, inviting institutional leaders and influential young figures from various fields to participate. Experts will also discuss the promotion of national industries, Arab governments' initiatives to empower youth in the private sector, and the role of international organizations in providing employment training in the Arab region. Furthermore, the meeting will release reports and research findings on the potential and competitiveness of Arab youth in the job market.

Sheikh Theyab welcomed the youth, leaders of youth organizations, and youth leaders invited to attend the meeting, and commended their efforts in strengthening pan-Arab youth cooperation and advancing the outcomes and recommendations of the meeting, which focus on capacity building, youth empowerment, talent discovery, and support for creative talents.

The Arab Youth Leaders Meeting serves as a platform to foster cooperation between entities dedicated to empowering Arab youth in various development paths. It showcases best practices and innovative ideas, while also serving as a launchpad for regional initiatives aimed at building capacity, developing skills, and creating a favorable regional environment.

Dr. Sultan bin Saif Al Neyadi, Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Vice Chairman of the Arab Youth Center, stated: "We are committed to making 2025 a year of strengthening regional youth empowerment.
