Abstract: Bat Yam, Israel: 3 buses exploded (suspected terror). Two more bombs failed. Nationwide transport halted for checks. No casualties reported.

Israeli police have stated that three buses exploded in the city of Bat Yam, south of Tel Aviv, in what is suspected to be a terrorist attack. Currently, police are conducting a large-scale search at the scene to hunt down the suspects, focusing on identifying potential leads and gathering evidence.

Police added that explosive devices on two other buses failed to detonate. According to Israeli media reports, Transportation Minister Miri Regev has suspended the operation of all buses, trains, and light rail lines nationwide for explosive device inspections, aiming to ensure public safety and prevent further incidents.

Videos on social media show at least one bus ablaze in a parking lot, with thick smoke billowing into the air. Police stated that no casualties have been reported so far. Police spokesperson Ariye Doren said that "the incident is still ongoing," and police are still searching for more bombs in Tel Aviv, urging the public to be vigilant about "every suspicious bag or object," emphasizing the need for heightened awareness and cooperation.

According to local media reports, one of the unexploded devices weighed 5 kilograms and had the words "Revenge from Tulkarm" written on it – referring to a recent Israeli military counter-terrorism operation in the West Bank. Defense Minister Israel Katz has instructed the military to "intensify" operations in West Bank refugee camps in response to the events in Bat Yam, signaling a firm stance against terrorism and a commitment to security.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office said in a statement that he is being briefed on the latest developments. Public broadcaster Kan reported that Transportation Minister Miri Regev has cut short her visit to Morocco and will return to Israel, demonstrating the seriousness with which the government is treating the situation and its commitment to addressing the crisis.
