Abstract: Humphries beat Greaves 10-7 at the UK Open, ending her historic run as the first woman to reach round four. Littler and Clayton also won.

Luke Humphries fought back to defeat Beau Greaves 10-7, ending her history-making run at the UK Open. The match was highly anticipated, and Greaves' performance earned widespread praise.

As the women's world number one, Greaves became the first female player to reach the fourth round of the event after defeating Stefan Bellmont, Rhys Griffin, and Mickey Mansell earlier on Friday. The 21-year-old even led men's world number one Humphries 7-5 at one point, demonstrating her formidable skill.

However, Humphries then won five consecutive legs to secure his place in the last 16. After the match, Humphries told ITV4, "She belongs in the top darts, she belongs in this environment. She really tested me, if we played in the Premier League, she'd beat me."

Greaves, the current three-time Women's World Champion, took a 2-0 lead with a 126 start followed by a 124 break. Humphries gradually regained his composure and eventually won the match. He then invited Greaves back onto the stage, and the two took a bow together in front of the crowd at the Butlin's Minehead Resort.

Greaves said after the match, "Playing Luke, he's amazing, for me, for my game, it's going to bring me on loads. I've been watching these players on TV, so it's good to be here. I just love watching him throw, to be honest." Her average score was 93.60, while Humphries' average was 103.40.

In other matches earlier in the day, Jonny Clayton defeated Gary Anderson 10-3, while men's world champion Luke Littler narrowly defeated Peter Wright. Littler led 7-4 and 9-7 at one point, but Wright fought back late in the match to tie the score at 9-9.

With a chance to finish the match with a 170 checkout, Littler opted for a safety-first strategy, aiming for the 10 segment, which drew boos from the crowd. The 18-year-old shook his head and said "no chance" to the crowd, eventually securing the win with an average score of 108.69.

Three-time champion Michael van Gerwen defeated fellow Dutchman Dirk van Duijvenbode 10-8, while Gerwyn Price lost to Connor Scutt 9-10.
