Barron sparks Hull FC late show to win at Giants

A stunning 90-meter intercept try by Harvey Barron helped Hull FC stage a dramatic comeback victory on the road against the Huddersfield Giants.

The 21-year-old successfully intercepted a pass from the Giants' Tui Lolohea and sprinted all the way to the try line. Aidan Sezer then completed the conversion and kicked the game-winning field goal in the final moments, ultimately securing the win for his team.

In the first half, tries from Jacob Gagai and Adam Swift gave the home side, Huddersfield Giants, hope of winning their first Super League game of the season, after Lewis Martin had initially put Hull FC ahead. Despite the Giants appearing poised to extend their lead, Hull FC defended resolutely and launched a comeback in the final 15 minutes, ultimately securing their second victory in three games.

After the match, Huddersfield Giants coach Luke Robinson stated that his team dominated for most of the game but ultimately failed to convert that into a win. Hull FC coach John Cartwright praised his team's resilience and specifically commended the outstanding performances of Harvey Barron and Lewis Martin, as well as Aidan Sezer's crucial field goal.
