A person with alleged ties to an outlaw motorcycle gang has been charged with indecently assaulting a 10-year-old boy near Newcastle. This case has drawn significant attention from the police, prompting a comprehensive investigation to uncover all the facts.
19-year-old Dylan Squires was arrested yesterday by detectives from the State Crime Command’s Child Abuse and Sex Offence Squad. Police allege that Squires, purportedly a member of the "Life and Death" gang, indecently assaulted the boy on two separate occasions, once in January and again in June.
Both alleged incidents reportedly occurred at a property in a suburb of Newcastle. Police are currently gathering further evidence to ensure the successful prosecution of the case and bring justice to the victim.
Squires appeared in Toronto Local Court today. He did not apply for bail, and it was formally refused. The case has been adjourned to Newcastle Local Court on January 15 for further proceedings.
