Recently, a shocking home invasion incident occurred in Great Bend, Kansas, USA. A child complained to his babysitter about a "monster" in the room, and the babysitter subsequently confirmed this terrifying claim, discovering a man hiding under the bed.
According to a report from the Barton County Sheriff's Office, the babysitter came "face-to-face" with the man under the bed while trying to comfort the child. A confrontation ensued, and a child was knocked down during the struggle. The suspect fled the scene before the police arrived. The Sheriff's Office stated, "The babysitter had an altercation with the suspect, and a child was knocked down in the conflict. The suspect fled the scene before law enforcement arrived."
The 27-year-old man was apprehended and arrested by law enforcement officers on Tuesday in the same neighborhood. Authorities identified the man as Martin Villalobos Jr., who previously resided at the residence and was subject to a protection order prohibiting him from being near the premises. He is currently facing multiple charges, including aggravated kidnapping and endangering a child.
Currently, Villalobos is being held in jail on a $500,000 (approximately AUD 794,000) bond. The case is under further investigation.
