Police are searching for two sisters who have gone missing in Aberdeen. The sisters were last seen three days ago, and their disappearance has caused widespread concern.
The missing individuals are 32-year-old Eliza Huszti and Henrietta Huszti, both residents of Aberdeen city center. They were last seen around 2:12 am GMT on Tuesday on Market Street at the Victoria Bridge.
According to police, they then crossed the bridge and turned onto a footpath by the River Dee leading towards Aberdeen Boat Club. Police Scotland stated they are conducting "extensive inquiries" and search efforts to locate the sisters, including the use of police dogs and the water unit.
Both Eliza and Henrietta are described as white, of slim build, with long brown hair. Police indicated that their last sighting point, on the Torry side of the Victoria Bridge, contains many commercial and industrial units, and searches are currently being conducted there.
Police added that they are urging businesses in the South Esplanade and Menzies Road areas to review CCTV and dashcam footage recorded in the early hours of Tuesday. Chief Inspector Darren Bruce stated, “We are continuing to speak with people who know Eliza and Henrietta, and we urge anyone who has seen them or has information about their whereabouts to contact us on 101, quoting incident number 0735 of Tuesday, 7th January 2025.”
