Michael Gracey's directed Robbie Williams biopic, "Better Man," has won the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) Award for Best Film. The film, which uses apes instead of stars to perform, has won the favor of the judges with its bold creativity and excellent production.

Previously, the film had won five awards at the industry dinner earlier this week, bringing its total number of awards at the 2025 AACTA Awards to nine.
In the television category, the Netflix series "Boy Swallows Universe" stood out, winning a total of six awards. Coupled with the six awards it received at the industry dinner earlier this week, the series' total number of awards reached twelve, making it the biggest winner in the television category.
