02-21, 2025The incident occurred on Monday afternoon (Tuesday Australian time) on Interstate 5 in North Sacramento. The falling vehicle narrowly missed several cars before eventually overturning onto its roof.
Following the accident, the driver was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Multiple lanes were forced to close for several hours. Fortunately, no other drivers were injured in the accident.
Kyman Jeung, who captured the accident on his dashcam, said the incident was terrifying. He told CBS News, "It's crazy to avoid the scene and mentally process everything that happened."
Jeung added, "If any of us had been a few seconds faster, the outcome could have been much worse." The cause of the accident is currently undetermined.
