Abstract: AUKUS pact offers SA & WA major gains and risks. SA Premier urges national involvement, citing strategic importance for all of Australia, not just those states.

Under the framework of the Australia-United Kingdom-United States (AUKUS) security pact, the states of South Australia and Western Australia face a situation of both opportunities and challenges. These two states have the most to gain from the AUKUS agreement, while also bearing the greatest risks.

In the final episode of "The AUKUS Inquiry," hosts Hamish and Geraldine interviewed the Premier of South Australia, Peter Malinauskas. During the interview, Premier Malinauskas explained why he believes other regions of Australia should also actively participate in the AUKUS cooperation.

Premier Malinauskas emphasized that AUKUS is not just a matter for South Australia or Western Australia, but a crucial issue related to the national interests of the entire country. He called on other states and territories to recognize the strategic significance of this cooperation and actively participate in it, jointly promoting Australia's defense and economic development.
