Abstract: Dubai Int'l Chamber attracted 51 MNCs in 2024, a 55% increase. 62.7% were Asian, with key sectors including construction, trade, and tech.

The Dubai International Chamber, one of the three chambers operating under the Dubai Chamber, recently released data showing that 62.7% of the multinational corporations (MNCs) it attracted to Dubai in 2024 originated from Asia. This figure strongly demonstrates Dubai's growing reputation as a key investment hub for international companies, further solidifying its position in the global market.

Latin America and Europe each accounted for 11.8% of the total number of MNCs attracted in 2024. The Middle East and Eurasia region represented 9.7%, while the African continent and Australia contributed 2% each, showcasing a diverse range of international interest in Dubai's business environment.

Among the MNCs attracted by the Dubai International Chamber in 2024, five major sectors accounted for 50% of the total, with each sector representing 10%. These sectors include construction, trade and logistics services, manufacturing, information and communication technology (encompassing artificial intelligence, robotics, blockchain, and software), and retail, fashion, tourism, hospitality, and travel, indicating a broad spectrum of investment opportunities.

Furthermore, 8% of the MNCs attracted in 2024 focused on the mobility sector, which includes aerospace, space technology, autonomous transportation, and traditional transportation. This highlights Dubai's commitment to innovation and its ambition to become a leader in future-oriented industries.

An additional three sectors collectively accounted for 18% of the attracted MNCs, with each sector representing 6%. These sectors are healthcare and pharmaceuticals, finance, banking and investment banking, and energy (including oil and gas, renewable energy, and clean technology). This diversified investment portfolio reflects Dubai's strategic focus on sustainable growth and economic diversification.

In 2024, the Dubai International Chamber successfully attracted 51 MNCs to Dubai, a 55% increase compared to the 33 companies attracted in 2023. The Chamber also expanded its global presence by opening two new international offices in Kazakhstan and Colombia, bringing its total number of representative offices to 33. These initiatives by the Chamber further enhance Dubai's appeal as a global business hub, help attract foreign investment, and assist Dubai-based companies in pursuing new economic and trade opportunities in high-potential global markets, contributing to the emirate's long-term economic prosperity.
