The Gaza Strip's health ministry stated that Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip since dawn on Tuesday have resulted in the deaths of at least 38 Palestinians and injuries to hundreds more. Concurrently, ceasefire negotiations between Israel and Hamas appear to be making progress. Civil defense spokesman Mahmoud Bassal noted that the attacks primarily targeted cities such as Deir al-Balah, Gaza City, and Khan Yunis.

Bassal revealed that in the Al-Manara area of Khan Yunis, the home of the Abed family was struck by an Israeli attack, resulting in the deaths of ten people, including a one-year-old girl. He also stated that the infant's parents, grandfather, and uncle were also killed in the attack. In a separate incident, the home of the Abu Shar family in the Daraj neighborhood of Gaza City was attacked, leading to the deaths of four children.

Furthermore, in Deir al-Balah, a tent housing displaced Palestinians was also attacked, resulting in three deaths. Witnesses reported that an Apache helicopter opened fire in the Jabalia area of northern Gaza, where Israeli forces have been conducting a reinforced offensive since October. These latest attacks come as Qatar mediates negotiations for a truce and hostage release agreement.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel's war in Gaza has resulted in the deaths of at least 46,645 Palestinians and injuries to 110,012. In the attacks launched by Hamas on that day, at least 1,139 Israelis were killed, and over 200 were taken captive.
