Davos 2025: Over 100 UAE officials, private sector leaders to engage in key meetings

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) recently announced its participation in the 55th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF), also known as Davos 2025, which will be held from January 20 to 24, 2025. The UAE is sending a high-level delegation led by Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, and comprising more than 100 leaders from government and private sectors.

The UAE will continue its active and significant participation at Davos 2025, which serves as a crucial platform for fostering international cooperation across various development areas, particularly those related to the economy. The UAE’s participation also reflects the vision of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to strengthen the UAE's leading regional and global role in promoting cooperation and supporting the international community in achieving comprehensive and sustainable development.

The UAE’s participation in Davos 2025 is themed "Cooperation in the Smart Era," aligning with the forum’s objectives and agenda. This year’s forum focuses on addressing gaps hindering global development efforts, promoting sustainable growth, and leveraging advanced technologies to create transformative solutions that support development. Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, stated, "The UAE's distinguished participation in the World Economic Forum (Davos 2025) embodies the vision of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai. For the third consecutive year, the UAE is participating in the World Economic Forum under the theme "Everything is Possible," and has established a dedicated pavilion, reflecting the country’s emphasis on this prestigious global event.
