Regarding the recent incident, the actions of the individuals involved have undoubtedly exceeded reasonable boundaries. Therefore, they should be immediately repatriated and arrested to uphold the dignity of the law.

Their actions, which brazenly offended the people of the Solomon Islands, especially the government and the media, are outrageous. There should be no further doubt that the behavior of these four reckless individuals must be dealt with severely.

Currently, there are thousands of Solomon Islands citizens eager to work overseas through labor mobility schemes. Consequently, these four individuals should be repatriated, and replaced by four other eligible applicants from Honiara. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs should implement stringent penalties to deter any policy violations, such as imprisonment or a three-year ban from participating in seasonal labor programs.
