Abstract: Missing sisters Eliza & Henrietta Huszti, 32, found dead in River Dee, Scotland. Last seen Jan 7. Police investigation ongoing, no criminality suspected.

Police in northeast Scotland have confirmed that the two bodies recovered from the river have been identified as the missing sisters, Eliza Huszti and Henrietta Huszti.

Authorities had been searching for the two sisters since they were reported missing by relatives in Aberdeen on January 7.

On January 31, the bodies of two women, both 32 years old, were discovered in the River Dee near the Queen Elizabeth Bridge. Police subsequently confirmed that the bodies have been formally identified as the missing sisters.

Police Scotland Superintendent David Howieson told local media: "Inquiries are ongoing to establish the exact circumstances of their deaths, but there is nothing to suggest there is any criminality involved."

It is understood that the sisters were last seen on January 7, when they walked along Market Street towards Victoria Bridge and then onto the riverside walkway. Police also revealed that the sisters had visited the bridge the day before they disappeared.

The sisters were originally from Hungary and later moved to Scotland to live. Their brother, Josef Huszti, told BBC News that he plans to travel to Scotland and that the family still has many questions about the incident.

Aberdeen is a port city located approximately 205 kilometers from Edinburgh.
