In Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, leaders from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states, Egypt, and Jordan convened for a cordial and friendly informal consultative meeting.
This meeting, initiated by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, brought together His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates; His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar; His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait; His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan; and His Excellency Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, President of Egypt.
This meeting is one of a series of periodic consultative gatherings aimed at strengthening the relationship between the GCC member states and Jordan and Egypt. Through such meetings, the participating parties aspire to deepen cooperation, jointly address regional challenges, and promote common development.
The President of the UAE stated on X (formerly Twitter): "Today, I participated in a meeting held in Saudi Arabia, together with the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council member states, Jordan, and Egypt, aimed at further strengthening coordination and consultation between our countries. I thank the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for organizing this constructive dialogue."
