Under the direction of the Crown Prince, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia hosted talks in Riyadh on Tuesday between representatives from Russia and the United States. The aim of these discussions was to promote international security and peace, while also underscoring the importance of resolving international crises through dialogue and diplomatic engagement.
His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, along with His Excellency Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet, attended this significant meeting. The Russian delegation was headed by Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, while the U.S. delegation was led by U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
Earlier, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met with Kirill Dmitriev, CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, at Al Yamamah Palace. The two sides explored bilateral cooperation in the field of investment and engaged in discussions on economic issues. Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Minister of the National Guard, and Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet, and National Security Advisor, also attended the meeting.
