Last week, Lautoka Tilak High School elected fifty executive officers who will form the Student Council for the Class of 2025. This election marks the official establishment of the new student leadership team, which will play an important role in the coming year.
Epeli Rokotunidau was elected as the Student Council President (Male), and Kaliyyah Lalabalavu was elected as the Student Council President (Female). The election of these two student council presidents represents a further enhancement of student self-governance.
Upon accepting their new positions, both student council presidents recognized the responsibilities they bear. They stated that they will do their best to serve all students and are committed to creating a positive, inclusive, and friendly campus environment.
Rokotunidau stated, "This badge symbolizes leadership, but more importantly, it gives us a collective responsibility to create a positive and inclusive environment for everyone." He emphasized the importance of leadership and the determination to serve all students.
Rokotunidau added, "As Student Council President (Male), I pledge to be a leader who listens, collaborates, and strives to make our school a better place of learning for everyone." His inaugural address demonstrated his vision and commitment to the future development of the school.
